We are Larry and Lola Ellis. We are located in Central Alabama in the small town of Verbena.

We inherited our kennel from Larry's father (Forrest Ellis) in 2009. Since then, we have been raising Golden Retriever puppies for many happy families.

It has been a real pleasure raising these wonderful dogs. Their loving temperament and ease of train ability (ranked #4 of all dog breeds by the American Kennel Club. and #7 by Animal Planet) make them the perfect family dog.

Every fond memory we have of these adorable dogs is a golden one, which ultimately led us to the name of Golden Memories Kennel.

All of our dogs are AKC registered and are well loved.
